Francia Plantation Great House
Francia Plantation House is located in the parish of St. George in the middle of the island.
The great house was originally built in the early 1900’s and is still occupied by the same family today. However their doors are open to the public on Monday to Friday from 9am until 4pm.
The house is filled with antiques including a very grand 19th century Mahogany dining table and fine china and silver ware. It is also renowned for its map collection, which lines the walls – one map in particular is of the West Indies dated 1522. The house over looks the valley of St. George and is surrounded by manicured tropical gardens, lawns and orchards.
