Bottom Bay is located on the south east coast of Barbados, in the parish of St. Philip.
Park on the cliff top and go down the steps. Bottom Bay is everyone’s dream of the perfect tropical beach – cliffs, coconut palms, a cave, soft white sand, brisk breezes and sparkling aquamarine sea.
The colour of the water here is spectacular as is the bay itself. The sand is golden and this beautiful little cove is an ideal hideaway.
Things to Do
In such a gorgeous setting, Bottom Bay is a first class picnic venue. There are no amenities such as showers or toilets and no outlets selling food or drink, therefore it is best to go prepared with a picnic.
You can swim here, but the sea can be quite rough with strong currents, so be careful and swim at your own risk since there are no lifeguards.
You need to be quite able bodied to get down to this beach, but in such a beautiful setting it is worth the short walk down.
