You can also shop at Colombian Emeralds International within the Cruise Terminal Building, who is another jeweler of distinction. They sell quality emeralds, precious diamonds, and exclusive watches. Another great store located within the Cruise Terminal Building is a branch of Best of Barbados, who sell gifts and souvenirs, which have been made or designed in Barbados. They also have an extensive range of unique items and handcrafts from the wider Caribbean region.
Here you will also find the Calypso Bakeries who sell a classic Caribbean present, which is a Calypso Rum Cake, which is freshly baked and then vacuumed sealed to give them a shelf life of 6 months without refrigeration. The cakes are sold in 4oz, 1lb, and 2lb sizes, and you have a choice of Vanilla, Chocolate, Coffee or Lemon and Ginger flavors.
The leading department store in Barbados, Cave Shepherd, also has a branch within the Barbados Cruise Terminal Building. They offer a wide range of duty-free products, including electronics, perfumes, cosmetics, liquors, cigars, and clothing.
One of the most popular duty-free retailers in Barbados is Harrison’s, who also has a store within the Barbados terminal selling international perfumes and cosmetics from Lancome, Clarins, Elizabeth Arden, Estee Lauder, and Clinique.
